SEEMINGLY NOTHING, CERTAINLY SOMETHING  is equal parts science fiction thriller, dystopian nightmare and a mystery all wrapped up with a wicked sense of dry humor, real life comparisons and satires on corporate industry and military complexes. The characters are sharp, clear headed and hiding unsatisfied emotional traumas that the intelligent reader will pick up on very naturally. They’re not written to react, they’re written to act, and to anticipate. While the primary story focuses on Skylar and Exigent, there’s also a large cast of revolving characters providing additional insight into the story and aiding in it’s progression of theme. I tackle real world problems like emotional trauma, underlying themes of physical and emotional abuse as well as taking a clinically harsh look at the realities of our world without making it all seem hopeless. There is an undercurrent of hopefulness in this story, and the characters bring that to life.
